“He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.”
Inspired by a section of yesterday’s article, I decided I would elaborate on the subject of picking your battles. The Manosphere is full of articles about attacking problems and situations head on, but there are very few posts on when it’s best to sit back and patiently wait for the proverbial noose to tighten around your opposition’s neck. “Children who reach the age of eighteen with their entire skills set composed on Nintendo and eating Doritos have been neglected. Their parents neglected to give them the character traits necessary to live successfully.”
I received a recent email from a gentleman named Will. He suggested covering the topic of how to teach proper financing to your kids. This is a topic that I’m not sure ever being discussed on any other Manosphere sites I’ve frequented so let’s dig in! Continue reading “Teaching Finances to Kids”
Marriage can be a wonderful thing, I have a good wife who supports me and I feel that I can trust. Not all women are like that however. Modern western society has corrupted so many women (and men) that it becomes very difficult to distinguish the needles from the haystack. Traditional dating activities like “dinner and a movie” or something similar are enjoyable, and are not any harm (other than to your wallet) but they do little in helping you find out what sort of integrity the woman you are dating has. There are some activities you can do to help you see those red flags before you make such a serious commitment. Continue reading “Six Dates You Need To Do Before Buying the Ring”
A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm,
She selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands.
She is like the merchant ships,
bringing her food from afar.
She gets up while it is still night;
she provides food for her family
and portions for her female servants.
She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.
She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night.
-Proverbs 30: 10-18
To many new members to the Red Pill or Manosphere, the idea of Dread Gaming your wife brings about mixed emotions. While the initial principles actually seem harmless and rather productive, the idea of “dreading” and “gaming” your wife comes across as manipulative, shady, and coercive. I have mentioned in previous installments of this series that the steps prescribed are intended to restore balance to a marriage, it is still often met with apprehension by many newcomers who aren’t fully acquainted with the intent of the process.
In this article, we’re going to discuss what caused the rise of systems such as Dread Game, the Red Pill, and the Manosphere as a whole.
I should start this off by saying I’m not a dad. That being said I have worked with many dads who are looking to make some extra money on the side in addition to working full time and having time set aside for the wife and family.
There has been a lot of talk of “side hustles” with cost of living increasing, mass lay offs, and just for those that want to insure against potential set backs in the future. Continue reading “3 Potential Side Hustles For The Busy Dad”
This past January, I took a new position at a very large company. It is a high stress, very demanding job that I knew I could get through if I dealt with it and didn’t give up. At times I was very irritable, tired, and generally wiped out. Being a leader means keeping morale high when things are going crazy. Today I’ll share my experience on how your behavior, mood, and demeanor affect those who look to you as a leader, and shine some light on what I did to get through the stressful times.
- Frame is fluid and will find its own level when a deficit or a surplus of will is applied to change it. The forces that influence that lack or boost of will is irrelevant – just know that the conditions of an operative framework will shift because of them. -Rollo Tomassi
I write this article as a bit of a field report but more so as a way for me to explain something that can be lost on red pilled men, especially married ones. Frame is something that you must control for yourself, but the frame of your marriage, and who is in control of that frame sets the standard for a healthy or decaying relationship. Continue reading “The Triangle of Frame”
Having covered the first three noble virtues (Courage, Truth, and Discipline) in part one, and Honor, Loyalty, and Hospitality in part two, we conclude this series with the the last three virtues: Self-Reliance, Industriousness, and Perseverance.
