This week we complete our Way of the Warlord program here at A Kings Castle. This is designed to be an interactive physical, mental, and martial arts program where the authors of the site give out a two week challenge to the readers to better ourselves and become better men.
This is the last and final challenge of Way of the Warlord. It started on Sept 22th 2017 and will end May 4th 2018. Been pretty fun I must say and you guys who participated I commend all of you for not only doing the hard work, but in doing the work with me. Fitness and Mental gains are a life long commitment but this series is done. I’ve learned a lot about myself and my limits and I hope you all have too. When we wrap up the series, I’ll make the challenges into an ebook. Dont forget, if you improved in some measurable way, you could score some free AKC swag. So here it is, the last challenge:
Your Favorite Lifts: WB Fitness turned up the heat on our workout program and my challenge to you is nothing I havent done. Take your top 3 favorite isolation lifts and do a 5×20 set of them. You should be REKT by the time you’re done.
This final challenge is simple, do something that you typically wouldn’t. Talk to 5 strangers. Take up a new hobby. Read a new book. Whatever you chose, just make sure you’re getting something good out of it.
Last time I challenged you to do your form from end to beginning. This time, your challenge is to do the form in reverse. Sounds the same as the last challenge? Yeah, kind of, but this time I mean literally do the form in reverse like someone is rewinding a DVD. This small change will make your brain hurt because your not just starting at the end and working your way to the beginning, but you are doing each technique from the end to the beginning, mean you’ll punch then chamber and block then pull in instead of the other way around.
The first time I did this, it took me nearly 15 minutes to complete one form. Good luck.
