The Sith Were Right

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.

Through passion, I gain strength.

Through strength, I gain power.

Through power, I gain victory.

Through victory, my chains are broken.

The Force shall free me.

The Sith code. All about strength and order through that strength. Let’s break it down, shall we?

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.

Through passion I gain strength.

How true is this? The only time you will ever be at peace is when you are dead. Life is a struggle. It’s meant to be that way. We find our purpose through the struggle. If someone has no struggles, they become listless and useless.

A caterpillar wraps itself in a cocoon and transforms into a butterfly. When it come time to emerge from the cocoon, there is a struggle. If someone tries to help the emerging butterfly out by cracking the cocoon, the butterfly dies. The struggle to free oneself is the struggle that gives us the strength to grow and emerge as something better.

Passion will keep you going. A burning desire to accomplish, to not fail, to provide for your family, will drive you to heights that just coasting through life won’t.

Find something that drives you, and let it do it. Don’t settle for the mundane, or prop up your listlessness as something worthy of praise. Peace is fatal.

Through strength, I gain power.

The strength to resist complacency gives you the power to enact change in your life.

Strength of mind gives you the power to resist manipulation. Look at the antifa fags. They buy hook, line, and sinker everything they see on their Twitter feeds. No critical judgement or examining of the facts, just knee jerk reaction.

Let’s look at the opposite spectrum. Someone who feels nothing. Someone who is so engrossed in self-pleasure that they no longer can even feel pleasure unless they go to extreme depravity. They have no strength of will either. They are slaves to their flesh.

Financial strength gives you the power to live free of debt slavery.

Spiritual strength helps you stay grounded in a world that does not believe in moral absolutes.

Physical strength causes predators to look elsewhere for prey.

Strength begets power.

Through power, I gain victory.

Not just power in and of itself, but using that power in the proper channel leads to victory. It could be paying off your mortgage, hitting that fitness goal, or achieving acceptance of life’s struggles. Victory is achieved by power gained from strength gained through passion.

Through victory, my chains are broken.

In my life, a spiritual awakening gave me the power to overcome hurdles in my life. The chains of addiction that bound me have been broken and I’m free.

Working towards financial power will enable me to choose my own path instead of being chained to any particular occupation.

Becoming more optimal physically will divert illness that would have overcome me due to poor health.

The Force shall free me.

Now look at the Jedi Code

There is no emotion, there is peace.

There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.

There is no passion, there is serenity.

There is no chaos, there is harmony.

There is no death, there is the Force.

No emotion? We are supposed to be unfeeling, stoic robotic people with only “peace” as our mantra. Sounds more “Brave New World” than anything I want to associate with.

Sorry, there is ignorance in this world. All of us fall prey to that in some way. It’s the constant striving for greater knowledge that differentiates us from the beasts, or doesn’t in some cases.

A life lived without passion is a life that is not lived. Striving for serenity at all costs is hollow. The best way to live your life is on the border between order and chaos. A life of only order leads to listlessness.  A life of only chaos leads to destruction. Live life on the edge. Be willing to venture out.

God hates a coward.

We all will taste death. It’s part of the natural order. There is nothing to fear there if our life has been lived to the fullest, but to deny its very existence is foolishness animated. Accept it and live accordingly. No man is promised tomorrow, so seize every opportunity to be a light.

As always, thanks for reading.
