Remembering to Be a Couple

The wife and I are pretty busy people.  Between the kids, the house, and all the other things we have to do, it can get hectic and sometimes you forget that you’re in a relationship with another person.  Sometimes we even feel tense until we realize that we haven’t “been acting like a couple”  for a while. Today I’ll discuss what can lead to this and how we fix it.

They Need Your Leadership

As we know, even a successful man can and will be manipulated if he lets his frame waiver.  I’ve seen this time after time with men I’ve known my whole life.  One account happened recently to a guy I know.  Today I’ll report on why I think it failed and what everyone needs to remember; to be a father/husband is to accept the role of leader at all times.

Ignoring The Urge to Quit

Whether you’re about about to make that last rep, about to get that last mile in, or 20 minutes out from completing a project, there seems to be this voice telling you that “this is too hard” and “just give up.”  I’ve worked to ignore this voice and push myself harder than I ever could by grinding on and keeping things moving.  To me, that is the key to overcoming your own self doubt and unreal limitations.

Red Pill Authors: The Western Hero

I hear the cry of: “How can you improve yourself by reading fake stories? You can’t learn anything from fiction!” Outrage duly noted, but I beg to differ. Continue reading “Red Pill Authors: The Western Hero”

The Need to Fly Solo

Marriage can be tricky at times because you are constantly around your wife, especially if you have kids.  I’ve noticed a fundamental flaw in a majority of married men and its that they spend all of their free time with their wife and children.  Being there for them as a provider and protector is part and parcel of being a father/husband, but you need to spend time by yourself.  We’ll go over what happens when you don’t have time for yourself, things you can do when you’re alone to have a positive impact on your life, and how to assert your wants/needs in your relationship without having to get into an argument. 5 Time Saving and Productivity Tips for Guys Running a Family

Lets cut to it, if you’re a married guy with kids, you’re going to have a busy life.  Between getting your kids to school, dealing with work, after school activities, birthday parties and all the other things you have to handle, things can get a little out of control it may seem.  Rather than letting it get to you, you have to come up with ways to override the time constraints you have.  Below are 5 that I use that help me stay on track.

Anti Dad Bod: Month 1
