For most of us, summer is basically here already.  While the “unoffical” start is Memorial Day, the nice weather makes me want to get outside and do things.  I want to be out in the sun, with the family, enjoying the day and each others company.  Yet, as simple as this may seem, I’m seeing a disturbing trend these days with families, and especially children.  There seems to be a lack in the desire to spend time together outside.  Today I’ll go over why this is a problem, and what you can do to maximize your summer.

Be Your Own Man

Do you guys know that couple that are always doing something together?  You rarely ever see them apart and they tend to engage in all the same activities together.  Last weekend I witnessed a couple like this.  The guy a legit hard working guy and his fiance a good mom, but they have a flaw; they feel the need to spend every free second together.  This is commonplace for many married couples I see, and in my opinion, it leads to a boring, miserable existence.  Today I’ll go over why this is toxic to you, your wife, and your relationship and what you can do about it.

The Easyway to Quit Drinking

Fritatta For Fitness Gains

Last week I was introduced to the magic of  a dish known as fritatta.  WB Fitness and La’darell Luthor both told me how great it was so I decided to give it a whirl for my meal prep this week.  I decided to add my own J. Don’t Skip Cardio Day

Weightlifting and Bodybuilding are pushed on many sites, including this one.  Every guy should be doing some sort of physical exercise where you are moving weights.  One aspect of fitness that is often pushed to the back burner is the cardio game.   WB Fitness has us doing 60 minutes daily now, and I have gone from someone who loathed the sight of a treadmill to someone who actually looks forward to it.  Today I’ll list the benefits of doing cardio, but I’ll really focus on how I went from a guy who just lifted weights, to one who does 60+ minutes of cardio after a tough lifting session.

The Best Damn Liver Recipe Out There

I recently saw a recipe online for a liver recipe that I knew I just had to try.  It was simple, had a wide variety of flavors that still worked well together, is incredibly healthy, and -most importantly- damn delicious!

Many people turn their noses up at liver as something alien and disgusting to eat, but they are doing themselves a great disservice.  Liver, when prepared properly, is fantastic and boasts an astounding nutrient profile. Over the weekend, I was able to catch up with an old friend from high school.  He’s not too different from myself, married with 2 kids and a full-tme job, except for one glaring difference, he’d really let himself go.  Today I’ll go over why it is important to keep yourself in good shape and looking the best you can, and why it’s important to the health of your marriage and family.
