Be Your Own Man

Do you guys know that couple that are always doing something together?  You rarely ever see them apart and they tend to engage in all the same activities together.  Last weekend I witnessed a couple like this.  The guy a legit hard working guy and his fiance a good mom, but they have a flaw; they feel the need to spend every free second together.  This is commonplace for many married couples I see, and in my opinion, it leads to a boring, miserable existence.  Today I’ll go over why this is toxic to you, your wife, and your relationship and what you can do about it.

Remembering To Be Human

We promote the go get it, kill it in every aspect of life attitude around here.  We’re committed to being the best fathers, leaders, husbands and also being fit physically, mentally and socially.  I’ve noticed at times that we can get wrapped up in this, after all its who we are, and there are times that you have to take a step back, laugh at life, and just run on auto pilot for a bit.  Today I’ll speak about taking that needed time to recuperate and what you can do to recharge when you’ve been hustling your ass off. Making Mental Gains

Once you begin lifting, you make the choice to be “forever small.”  You’re never big enough, you’re never strong enough, you should always be motivated to keep pushing and making yourself better.  You’ll make your body look better, and you’ll amaze yourself at what you can do. One of the things most people fail to realize is the mental side of lifting.  Today I’ll explain my approach and how I feel I benefit mentally from weight training.
